I have just won? a 12/1952 built.1953 model Claud Butler Avantcoureur 22" frame (I REALLY wanted a 21") complete bike. LOOKS? all orig. but frame paint is in rough condition. I Paid GBP225.00 YES about $450.00 at to days rate. NOW the clincher! shipping was GBP160.60 Global Priority 3 days, about $320.00! ( Well at least the Brit post office is making money) I did shop around for shipping and GBP150.00 no guarantee delivery time was about the cheapest. If you are interested Ebay#300188664988 NOW the question I put to youse! It is a Simplex 3speed. 27"Dunlops. B17saddle, GB bars, stem and brakes, Williams C1000 single chainset.Pedals?.Bluebels mudguards, EVEN a Swiss Lucifer dynamo. IT does have the real neat Bi Lam lugs. The seller thought it was a real lugged frame NOT, in my mind the better welded and bilam design, DO I RESTORE IT? or bring it to LeCirque as is? Lets hear some feedback on this. Dougs Claud BiLam FRAME alone, went for twice what I paid for this compete bike INCLUDING shipping! Cheers John Crump OldmaybegotadealthistimeBrit, Parker, Co USA
