Swiss Lucifer dynamo sets are great - they are not heavy and in the 800 or 900 versions produce a good light even at low speeds completely reliably - the 900 version is later and 12 pole and works splendidly at walking pace but the 800 I used for years when commuting in London. It was more reliable, was light as anything more and could not be bettered even in the 1980s.
