Again, from the Ebay pictures, John Crump's does not appear to use an
external seat clamp, but what appears to be a normal seat lug. My '53 New
Allrounder was like that even though the catalogue pictures clearly show an
external clamp. This has always been a mystery to me because I've seen
pictures of Avant Coureurs and New Allrounders both ways.

My '51 New Allrounder frame (516 3031) has a "D" on the front of the steerer, but I have yet to strip it completely to see a letter on the bottom bracket.
