It's not handmade, but one of the handyest tools in my shop is a 10 inch Chapman Tiger-Lock wrench. This is a "Cresent" type adjustable wrench with a side handle that locks the wrench on the nut or bolt like "Vice Grips". This eliminates the slop found in other adjustable wrenches. Besides handleing odd-sized nuts, it is handy for ironing out blips on the sides of rims. It is no longer made, so if you see one at a flea market or garage sale grab it. Stanley now makes a similar tool, but it is not as well made as the Chapman.
