Hello CR list

My name is David Joshel. 56 years old. I live in Davis, CA home of the D avis Bike Club.

I like and ride steel lugged frames, currently owning three bikes which I b elieve meet the list criteria.

1. Marinoni from 1987, Columbus SL/SP currently set up as a fixed gear.

2. Basso, Columbus SL 1993 built with a mix of Camppy, Shimano, and Suntour with Look pedals.

3. Although only 2 years old, a Kogswell model P ( the one with the fancy Pacenti lugs) built up as a touring bike with a triple chainring.

I do most of my own mechanic work except I'll pay a LBS to press in my head sets when neccessary.

The one bike I regret selling is a Centurion road bike from about 1980, it was yellow with lots of fancy pinstriping and chrome, very nice high end Su gino and Suntour parts. I don't know what the model name was.

Other Bikes I've owned: Bridgestone 1992 RB1, long gone. Trek 1979 road bike full Columbus, also long gone.

Enjoy club riding in the 50-100 mile range. The Davis Bike Club has a larg e group of retired guys who ride everyday. I'm not retired yet, but someti mes I join them as I'm fortunate to have employment that's flexible about h ours.

Currently employed as a Field Service Engineer in the Bio-Med industry. Wh ich is a fancy name for a guy who drives around to labs and hospitals fixin g hardware and software problems on Automated lab equipment.

this is one of my favorite bike sites, along with CR and Fixed Gear Gallery . http://www.speedbicycles.ch/ one of my favorites here is the Merckx Mol teni #259.
