I too have often searched through boxes of stuff and often sent free gratis items to folks or sold them for what I paid them some time in the past. Most folks seem to appreciate it, and those who do not get short shrift the next time they need something in my scheme of things.
I have narrowed down such activities in recent times to folks who actually need something for a project.moving something from my stash to someone else's stash holds no appeal to me whatsoever.
A note expressing appreciation for effort expended just seems like a proper way to do business.
I would also like to announce at this time that Mr. Rounds has sent me the money due on our Cinelli transaction.he seemed most anxious to clear his name after my own venting last Christmas. I'll put the money toward the next Charity Auction at Cirque.after being snowed in for the last couple of weeks I find myself more and more looking forward to it. Even sending in my registration fees a while back seemed a welcome break from snowdrifts.
