Much to my embarassment, I can speak only one language, (southern) English. I appreciate the efforts, so often mocked, by others to put instructions into English for my benefit. In that sense of amused gratitude, I offer the following instructions received with a set of Roma Sport decals I was grateful to find and purchase at L'Eroica:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Istruzioni per Vernice copale Inglesi

To give a light varnish layer and to apply the decalise in the wished position. To make pressure with the hand in all its heads. To attend an hour to dried up (). To bath with lukewarm water and to remove the protection paper delicately. To leave it's dry without touching. Attention the varnish It should not contain points out (not chemical). +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Perhaps someone can help me make sense of all this: am I to apply a layer of varnish to the frame beforehand, or use these as water slide, and varnish when dry?

thanks, and thanks to the author for trying so hard to help me; I couldn't have read the Italian, either.
