On my last business trip there, I used blazingsaddles.com Two good things,
they rent high end bikes, I went for a flat bar Specialized with slightly w
ider tires than my road bike because of my deep respect for rainy streets,
cable car tracks and the Golden Gate Bridge, second, they are about two blo
cks from the water, which is the easiest way around town without climbing u
p and down, just follow the bike route along the bay, or cross the bridge a
nd ride on the other side. The bike was in good shape for a rental, they gi
