I can't express enough how sad this makes me. I knew he was suffering from a debilitating condition which he even chronicled on his webpages for those (like myself) concerned about his condition. But, with so many thousands of joyous cycling miles still ahead of him, I had always hoped and believed he would make a full recovery.
Through his website contributions and helpful advice on a multitude of discussion groups, he probably was more helpful than anyone else during my return to cycling after years away from the discipline.
He will me greatly missed. And, always well remembered, he will live on.
