Have a look at the ugliest Colango Super you have ever seen, posted in a

For me it looks like a >gasp< 1972 Colnago Super which was "upgraded" with
front derailleur and cable braze ons and under the BB cable guards in the
crazy 80s.
Was it common practise to upgrade your 70s frame to look more modern back
then? Wht a shame. Or is there anoter explanation for this strange frame?
