Come on! Campy brakes, back-in-the-day! Nothing even close!
Campy, especially brakes, was one of the signs we all looked at to tell if a fellow racer was serious or not. It was like looking out for the rider with the most serious tan, a way to look at who to watch once the attacks started.
I have put my campy levers through a lot and they've kept on ticking. I'm not sure you could have done this much to other period levers and expected them to perform perfectly. This photo on wooljersey is the "good" side. They still work flawlessly.
