Steven is right. The bikes for sale in Italy are from
Paolo Chiossi. He's a very honest and reliable guy.
He and his father own a shop in Modena. His father was
a contract frame builder for Masi during the 50s. He
also built my frame in 2002:

On Italian ebay there is a seller that has a number of very interesting bikes that are worth taking a look at:

Among the items up for sale are:
a 1973 Wilier Triestina frameset. This frame is especially interesting to see how the top cable guides were handled. It is oft-stated that for early 70's Italian bikes had TT cable guides. I believe that this frame with its original ramato finish is proof that rear derailleur chainstay cable stops were indeed used as TT cable guides

Another frame is listed as a Masi 3V however I believe it is more likely a Masi Prestige that has been repainted. It has a Shimano Exage group fitted whcih doesn't do much for me, but as a frameset could be interesting.

Another hidden gem is the Marco Marastoni frame. Marastoni is not well-known outside of his local area and the framebuilder's community in Italy. Many top Italian framebuilders will however confirm that he should be considered alongside people like Pogliaghi, De Rosa, Pelà... Marco is now in his 80's and long retired but he built some very serious bikes for many pros. Reading on an Italian message board, Dario Pegoretti recently stated that he has an old Marastoni in his personal collection of bikes alongside those of Masi, De Rosa and his father-in-law Milani.

I am not sure who the seller is, but take that it might well be a fellow by the name of Paolo. If this is the case, he is a good fellow to deal with.
