Yes, like others said, the red pads were stock SunTour, molded-in name and slender, rounded profile. I have found them to offer better performance like the Matthausers do, compared side to side, and better than stock black Campagnolo. Many variables here, of course, and braking performance not compared experimentally but by impression. Still, my impression is that the read compound SunTour pads have superior braking like the Matthausers and are likely to me not just a different color but a different compound.
