The closest hotel to the Cirque event hotel is the Days Inn, which is literally about a five or ten minute walk away. Last I checked, there were still some rooms available. The Days Inn is a bit scruffy, particularly compared to the Best Western, but it's also a little cheaper.

These are a little pricier, and I don't know if rooms are available. You'll need to go directly to each to find out the details. I had hoped to get this info posted to the web site before making this post, but I've been too busy since my return from Portland.
