This from the DC Craigslist. "1974 Raleigh Pro Mk.IV frame converted to a fixed gear. Serial Number is: WM4011661 (for those of you interested in vintage Raleighs.) Tubes are Reynolds 531 throughout, with Campagnolo dropouts. Bottom bracket has "CC" cut out which I believe means it was made in the Carlton factory.
"Seat tube is 56cm c-to-c. Top Tube is 55.5cm c-to-c.
"When I got the frame the paint was a little rough, and the fork had a problem with the threads. I sent the frame off to a paint shop to have it stripped and primed. I then painted it myself in black, light blue and white. Also used an entire bottle of clearcoat to protect the finish (which has worked a bit). Paint is a bit chipped in places, and there are two minor dings on the seattube near where a front derailleur would go. They don't make any difference and are not noticeable at all."

I don't normally list bikes from DC Craigslist, since some of us want them for ourselves. But, this one is no longer a vintage bike, and it is the Marque that listmember Emily O'Brien rode fixed on PBP this Fall. and they weren't that uncommon. And I don't think anyone I know here is into buying it, even me, and I'm really into funky.
just don't tempt me to get the Sears/531 townie conversion that was listed a couple of weeks ago. Again. Not for $200.
