My diminishing free-space problem has reached a crisis point.
I've no-longer any room to work on the bikes I need to keep in running order...
So I'm ready to let-go of several curiosities and undersized road bikes.
************************************************************************ * '63 Raleigh Gran Sport w/ original Campy parts. $825
22" c-t, 27" wheels
Mostly original but for the bars & brake levers, deep blue-green and white Blumel fenders,
Brought in from Britain by a returning Service-man. Currently has the upright bars he put on it along with the badly reshaped GB Brake levers. The original bars are missing, but I do have some plain GB drops that I 'll put on this week with white cloth tape. I don't think I have any more GB levers around (and how would I find them anyway!) so I may just put on some placeholder Wiemann levers so it can be photographed & ridden.
Large flange hubs, leather saddle & bag. Lamp mounted on Right fork blade.
Retro-perfect good looks. Paint in mighty good shape
It can be seen at Acme Bicycle Company in Kansas City while the work is being done.
I will be taking pictures after the bars have been replaced.

******************************************************************* 1979 Volare 531 All DuraAce XLNT - $700
All early DURA-ACE Very good condition.
Original but for tires and bartape. Tuned up & ready to run hot.
Rich Pearl Orange. New Vittoria Randonneurs.
Rarely-seen in these parts...... The Volare was made only 2 years: '78 & '79.
I still haven't found one of these in my size.
This one is 23" c-t and too small for me.
I've heard it said that the Volare had
Schwinn Paramount geometry and
Reynolds 531 DB steel.
It was Schwinn's high-end production model
for these years rather than a custom-built.
Pictures available soon.
