Greetings---

Unique vintage/kof forged alloy spearpoint stem in a retro I-Beam "girder style." Very tall 5-inch rise above the line limit.

I purchased this from a very nice List Member. It’s a real retro looker and I would love to keep it, but find I need the extra one-inch rise of the latest 6-inch rise Technomic stems.

At 5 inches above the mark limit, this one is still long enough for any but the most extreme applications. These were evidently a surprise find by Rivendell Bicycle Works several years ago and have not been produced for many years. I’m told Rivendell bought out Nitto's complete limited production run. It’s got the cool red=headed fixing bolt, too. Very nice. I did not fit the stem to a frame; the previous owner did, but only briefly. Excellent condition. Only the most minor signs of use.

125 mm (5 inches) = Total height exposed above the marked limit line (total length from top to bottom of stem is 190mm)

26.0 mm handlebar clamp diameter

75 mm (apx. 3 inches) forward reach (center of rear bolt to center of handlebar)

22.2 mm quill diameter ...

320 grams.
