Do what I do...

1. Craftsmen 6 point socket...7mm in your case. 2. Concrete bit that fits through the socket. 3. Flat file...rough and smooth. 4. Tons of electrical tape. 5. Electrical hand drill. 6. Bench vise.

Wrap tape around bit so that force is required to slide the socket on it.

Stick bit in drill such that open end of socket lands on chuck.

Secure bit...

Place drill in bench vise with bit pointing up and secure.

Use small hand vise to hold trigger.

Use file in stationary position to grind away material...make sure at a slight angle such that you go thick to thinnner as you approach open end of socket.

Reduce such that transition to very end leaves 1mm of material at socket points.

I did this to a 16mm socket for my Zeus. Use a Craftsmen socket...everything else will crack. I am able to use this socket up to 25 lbs. torque repeatedly with no cracking. Label the thing too...else someone else will grab it for regular duty use - and ruin it.

I'm sure other members will have simpler methods...
