Hi all, the owner has been yold that the serial #, starting with SB, is from 1977, has a full chrome fork and a 27.0mm seatpost fitted, so like others one would suspect 531...........regards wayne davidson Invers NZ..........

My Team Pro has no chrome at all. As I learned from UK list members soon after I bought mine, 753 was, strangely enough, available only in metric gauge tubesets for the first few years. I was therefore able to conclusively identify mine as a 753 Team Pro from the French dimension tubes and the 26.8 mm seatpost. If yours has an SB serial number, it is Ilkson production. If it also has metric gauge tubes and a 26.8 post, it is 753.
