Oh for sure! ANY World's Championship has been used as the allowance to use the stripes... Multitudinous track events, team,? masters, junior, cyclocross, you name it. Still all valid too!

The widely accepted convention? dictates ONLY a gold medal?entitles the use of those bands (It's a big deal!), hence my original query!
