Every world champion stripe jersey I ever wore always got thumbs up from the boys here in Sydney. Just sayyin'
And the principle reason I started cycling was because my school bus used to make a stop outside Europa Cycles and being a style master, and budding fashionista I used to drool at the black Del Tongo Colnago wool trainer with large World Champion stripes across the chest. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. Then again my first bike had a plastic Ofmega rear derailleur so there's no trusting my taste.
World Champ (or Gay Pride) stripes look pretty cool on any bike, IMO
