Thanks to Robert Broderick's generous sharing of his catalogues on Wool Jersey, I have finally figured out exactly what I have.

And after a bit of close scrutiny, I now also know that what I have is mis-matched threads on the right and left crank arms. They had been presumed to be a matched pair by the shop owner who had been as clueless as I about these and had also not even bothered to check the threading.

I'd now like to offer up these two pieces VERY CHEAP to anyone who can actually use either of these orphaned parts.

You'd recognize these from the catalogue pictures I have linked below if you have them on an old bike or have their mates in your stash. These are both New-Old Stock . So, if you'd like to replace a tattered crank on some mid-range 60s-70s bike the chrome on these is perfect.

Lengths = 170 mm.

$5 each piece, plus actual cost of shipping ... to anywhere.

Nervar 5-pin pattern, cottered steel, right crank arm. Model 150. French pedal threads, for French axle (16 mm diameter) and 9 mm cotter.

Nervar LEFT cottered crank arm. This was used as the correct left crank arm for most all of the very numerous Nervar right crank arm configurations - 3arm, 5-pin, single chainring, double chainrings, etc.

9/16" x 20 tpi British pedal threads... for British (5/8") cottered spindle and 3/8" cotter (= 9.5 mm)
