My 18 year old son would like to take my 1963 Frejus road bike and tour up the California coast on his spring break. Wow! So I have the bike in perfect working order. Dug out my Blackburn rack from 1977, and it looks just fine. Even my old TA handlebar bag and Kirtland Tour Pak panniers appear to be ready to go.
Here is my problem. The Blackburn is fastened to the rear dropout with allen bolts, and they are missing. Also missing are the little hooks that went on these bolts to clip the panniers.
Would anyone have these that they would be willing to sell? Would anyone know of a shop that would have these for sale? I have started checking online without any success.
I know that most of the members here are more inclined toward racing, but I was hoping that there might be a few old vintage tourers like myself who could help me out.
