Hello all,

I have a very interesting bike for sale. 

It's a 1981 Masi Gran Criterium. It is a very low mileage, 100% original mac hine. It is almost as new.

I acquired it from the original owner. It was purchased in 1981 here in San Diego, which is literally down the street from the old Masi shop. The bike w as ridden "a couple hundred" miles, according to the owner, and I believe it . The owner then had a very bad back injury, and put the bike away in a bedr oom. That was in 1982. It stayed in that room until I came across it a short time ago.

Paint is their beautiful metallic blue w/Faliero Masi in white on top tube

Paint-matched pump with Campagnolo head

Seatpost: Campagnolo 27.2

Stem: Cinelli w/oval "Cinelli Milano" logo

'Bars': Cinelli Campione del Mondo, with original Masi yellow bar tape and  Campagnolo bar end plugs

Headset: Campagnolo

Brakes: Campagnolo Record levers, Nuovo Record calipers, original  Campagnolo pads with almost no wear

Shifters:  Campagnolo Record

Front derailleur: Campagnolo Record

Rear derailleur: Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Pat. 81

BB: Campagnolo 36 x 24 F

Crankset: Campagnolo Nuovo Record, 170 Strada 53/42

Rear end: Suntour 6 speed 13/21

Pedals: Campagnolo, Christophe clips and straps

Hubs: Campagnolo Record

Rims: Ambrosio Synthesis Super Professional tubular

BB shell cutout M, stamped SMC 58 & C8111

It's a striking bike, looking as if it was just assembled. I've been wiping off the dust and am very impressed.
