After removing some of the dirt and dust that has built up over the past 13 years here are some pics. The components are still quite dirty. Any suggestions on cleaning? Will WD-40 do any harm?

I have what I believe to be a complete and original *Mid 70's* Pogliaghi serial # D 882. I have owned the bike for 19 years and have put maybe 100 miles on it. It has been hanging in a garage for the past 13 years. The only thing I ever changed on the bike was the handelbar tape. It has the full Campagnolo N.R. components w/ "PATENT-73" on rear derailer. The saddle is a Brooks Professional with a Made in England 73 stamp. The N.R. crankset is engraved with the Italcorse symbol that also appears on the bikes front decal and the seat tube decal. The back of the crank arms have no date marking, only "172.5 STRADA". Craig Francisco Minneapolis, MN USA
