thanks, but we just painted our masterpiece. we're done here. in addition to the crank caps, we just found some little yellow bits that twist on the bare brake wires.

time to go do some laundry, watch some Foley's War, maybe some Frost, hit the rehab gym, mount some posters, etc. there are other thing to do now ....

over and out here

where it was 82 or something today. no day to wear wool at the gym but we did anyway. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Sanders To: 'Robert Clair' Sent: Friday, April 11, 2008 5:15 PM Subject: RE: Wizard bikes

... thanks so very much for the offer ... but Mr. Bill got these on today. with a little help from a third hand, a very small screw driver tool, and a magnifying glass.

if you can picture that New Yorker cover of the Sempe bicycle place from 08/83, that was me sweating bullets.

shimano clips from the period had a rectangular, and a round hole, for positioning the "split" screw, in those little arm clamps.

bill also had never seen/used Benotto cello tape before either. but nailed it too.

he also built the mavic ssc blues into the DA hubs, etc. for the first time that too.

tonight we put on the proper dust caps !!

Robert, Mine didn't have Shimano top tube cable clips, but Campagnolo. I do think I have a set or two of Shimano ones, though, if you need them I may be able to help.
