I'm looking at an original and very clean Batavus Professional from 1984/85. It is a full Nuovo Record bike with a Columbus frame and fork. The paint is an eyeball popping red and yellow combination. Anyone have any thoughts on these bikes? Since this is a large factory production bike will it provoke the same criticism as the recent Raleigh discussion or are these considered competent frames? The only oddball item on the bike is a pair of Campy SGR pedals.
