Mat Baker's recent "upgrading" of a nice Wilier trackie into a fixed gear mongrel is really sad. I'd applaud the finished project if he had started with some other common frame or something in real need of a refinish... But to waste a nice bike like that Wilier... the only silver lining I can find in this is that we have the "before" photo, perhaps the black mongrel will soon find its way to someone who appreciates what it once was, and CyclArt will be there to do the complete and accurate restoration.
