I have an unpainted steel lugged Colnago that I acquired in '95 but was made in the late seventies or early 80's (I think). I thought I might use it as an example of how to paint for the builders that come to take my painting class. It has most of the common braze-ons (including uncommon water bottle bosses near the dropouts - probably for fenders) except it has a clamp stop on the top of the down tube instead of 2 Campy type lever bosses on the side. My question is, am I more likely to be able to sell this thing as original or should I braze on the more common lever bosses?

This frame has no sentimental value to me, I just want to increase the odds of a sale. Which I guess brings me to question #2. What color would be the best to convince someone they had to have it? Original type or something more modern like a candy or chameleon?

Thanks for your impute,
