Powdercoat can look good on a bicycle--Jeremy, an example in our neighborhood is Class Act Coating in Milwaukie. I just had a frame that I built for my wife powdercoated by them, and the lugs look crisp, the finish is smooth and not orange-peely, just a good job overall.
