I have some of the elk-hide leather covers from Velo Orange. I saw the needle and thread and I just froze. BT

I didn&#39;t get Almarc pre-covered bars because of the inability to use with a classic stem.

It seems much easier to use Velo-Orange&#39;s elk hide with one&#39;s own choice of bars and stem. Comes in several colours, pre-cut for stitching, thread, needle, instructions, $28.
