1938 Moorson, 21" c-c

http://theracingbicycle.com/Moorson.html

I purchased the Moorson from the original owner in Scotland.. As was the custom of most well maintained UK bikes, it most likely has been re-enameled, probably numerous times. No rust, but several small dings in the tubing which do not distract from the appearance or function. The bike presents as a very attractive pre war bike.

It has an equally rare set of adjustable Moorson handlebars. Wheelset has Chater Lea hubs, rear is fixed/free flipflop, AVA rims and John Bull tires (instead of recommended psi on sidewalls, they read "keep inflated very hard"). Chater Lea crankset, right side crankarm pedal hole needs to be rethreaded. Chater Lea "Tommy Bar" pedals, Chater Lea headclip, Monitor 'Ventura' front brake, Brooks B17 saddle.

More information on Moorson is on Tony Hadland's website:

This very rare bike is offered at $3200.00
