if you Still can't get it off maybe you can try a tip i heard from old time autoworkers ??

for freeing up super seized and rusted bolts someone told me to heat the bolt until it is red hot and quench it with an old candle... apparently the wax will melt and penetrate into the threads via capillary action and act as a lubricant.. has anyone tried this with success ?? i know there are not many places to apply this in bike mechanics (i never tried.. i broke all the bolts off the exhaust manifold first)

i suppose you have to watch the heat though... too much can affect the chromed finish

I assume you've tried a pedal wrench. These are usually longer-than-normal, thin, 9/16" wrenches, that require a sharp rap with a hammer to loosen the thread. If the pedal is junk, disassemble it from the spindle and clamp the spindle in a large bench vise and try turning the crank with a big pipe. If it doesn't want to budge and the crank might bend, heat and quench the spindle a couple of times to loosen the threads. (You know, of course, that the LH pedal gas a LH thread.)
