Beautiful, beautiful bike, Ray!

You say: "You can also see on the tire tread that I have blacked out the not-period-correct Vittoria label. And of course I have the tire mounted so the offending label is on the non-drive side."

I noticed that the exposed end of the base tape was trailing the tire rotation, which I like. Usually when you mount the tires this way, the label ends up on the non-drive side. I notice that on my bikes. This seems odd, because I feel that having the exposed end of the base tape leading the way the tire rotates is just not "right". Comments anybody?
