Well folks, in just under two weeks, the Cirque 2008 weekend will be officially kicking off with the Black Market Bikes Open House and Tea Party at 3:30 PM. Yes, it's really almost here. While there are still very many loose-ends, things are actually coming together nicely. (Of course, I might just be delusional right now.)

For all you procrastinators out there, there are still a few spaces left in all events. But not many. If you want in, you better act now. On-line registration is closed, except for vendor spaces. We closed on-line registration so we could collect our money from BikeReg. You can still register using the mail-in form found here:

Speaking of vendor spaces, since it was not clear in the on-line registration for vendor spaces that prices would increase on the designated date, vendor registration has been left at the original prices, and will remain that way until the end. For those few who have secured a vendor space at the increased price, using the mail-in registration, see me when you arrive and I'll arrange a "rebate". Increased prices are still in effect for other events.

Joel Dressner will be handling show bike registration, beginning at the Opening Reception on Friday, and continuing through Saturday evening. Please be prepared to get show bikes registered prior to Sunday morning. It will be MUCH easier that way. Of course, we may only have about 25 bikes in the show, since that's all the response I got from my request for what people planned on bringing.

A gentle reminder about the Show. Please make sure you bring sturdy display stands for the bikes you want to enter in the show. We do not have display stands to loan.

Thanks to lots of hard work by our ride coordinator, Tom Roberson, we will have some really nice rides, so come prepared. And pray for dry, warm weather. We've had a cool and wet Spring here. Tom and I rode one of the planned routes today, and I was wearing a thermal vest and arm warmers!

We posted an update of the "signup" list yesterday evening, reflecting all registrations to date:

Please take a look. If you have registered and do not see you name listed, or the events indicated are not correct, please contact me ASAP so we can sort things out.

Well, I guess that's about it for now. See you all soon!
