Ron, Welcome to the list! I have a Schwinn Continental in fine condition that you are welcome to have for free, but it is on the smaller size, and suspect at your earlier weight of 245 you will need a larger frame size (recall mine is a 22" frame size but will double check tomorrow). The steel rims found on the Varsity and Continental models were incredibly strong, and provided you avoid severe road obstacles, they should do just fine for your weight. I'm located very close to your Susquehanna Twp location in Grantville (actually went to Susquehanna Twp HS). Feel free to contact me if you are interested, and if this bike won't work, I can try to find something that may (potentially a mountain bike to start with). Regards, Kevin Kruger - Grantville, PA
