I believe this color was known as "rose metallic." The one I had, formerly owned by Mike Kone, was quite nice.

This color is close to "salmon" but I've seen the salmon color on Colnagos from the day, and it tends to be a little deeper hue and I believe it may have been a pearl color, rather than metallic, although I could be wrong about that, memory being what it is..but the salmon color pops more than the cinelli rose, has a little more red or orange in it? Where the rose metallic was more pink.

A friend here locally has a rose-metallic cinelli, a bit faded...the color tended to lighten up after years of sunlight.

Far as I'm concerned, a cinelli ain't a cinelli unless it's silver, or chrome--well, not exactly, but you get my drift. The other colors are ok (and I guess you could get one in just about any color you wanted, right?), but silver and all-chrome, that's the ticket.
