Subject: [CR]Bike classification for shows

I suppose my curmudgeonly head is rearing itself again, but all this bickering makes me think I may just bring any bike I'd like to share with my friends and poop be upon a show. I think the hallway at the last Cirque was by far the most interesting venue for viewing bikes, anyway.

Maybe we should just say bikes will be judged subjectively by folks we respect as to how nice they are. Or put them in the hallway and be happy. I like "Nice" as the criteria to judge a bike, let it be subjective and a reflection of the judges tastes honestly instead of this charade of category and objective originality.

Maybe there should be awards for bikes of extraordinary merit and aside from the popular Peoples Choice Award this would be it. Who can really say with a straight face that ANY BIKE THERE is really the Best In Show? I am thinking more and more that a show is a charade for the tourists.
