I was inspired by Breaking Away as a kid. Relevant bikes I have owned are: 1981 Schwinn Traveler, 1983 Guerciotti (inspiration for my current proje ct), 1987 Biemmezeta Criterium, 1991 Eddy Merckx Corsa, 1991 Pogliagh i, early 70s Liberia, Falcon Molteni Merckx replica 1975 Campy SR, Ca nnondale track bike, 2001 Litespeed Ultimate, 1984 Guerciotti SLX SR pa nto (starting point for my current project). I currently own the aforement ioned Falcon, Litespeed and Guerciotti SLX. I Grew up in Cleveland, we nt to school in Boston and have lived in Chicagoland since 1993. I worked as a mechanic at The Bike Station in Strongsville, Ohio during high schoo l and International Bicycle Center in Boston during college. I'm married t o my junior high girlfriend with no kids and two dogs. The current Guercio tti project which prompted me to join the group is a feeble attempt to hold on to my youth. It is also a more productive and less expensive manifesta tion of my mid life crisis than an affair and the subsequent divorce. Thes e days, wrenching is as therapeutic as riding. I'm looking forward to pa rticipating.
