At a local resale shop today, I saw a black Sony Walkman road bike. Dirty, light corrosion in some areas. No, it was not an exotic like the bikes usually discussed here. Frame was lugged steel, nothing fancy. The lettering had a 1980 date on it. Some of the components were Suntour, Shimano, I think. Wheels were steel. Obviously, it was a branded item for the mass market, and not made by Sony. I wonder if anyone knows who made it? No, I didn't grab it....and prolly won't unless someone says some really nice things about it.
