Subject: [CR]Coppi Campionissimo Frame - Fiorelli

I have a Coppi frame not too unlike the one on ebay currently ( Item number : 180262143376 ) except for the treatment of the top of the seatstays (flat bevelled ends) and I can't find a frame number in any of the usual places (seat lug, seat tube, rear dropouts, bottom bracket, head lug, steerer tube - anywhere else I should look?).

What I am wondering is how to remove the fork crown badges (which look the same as on a Fiorelli of the same period, except for the name, obviously). It is clear that they are assembled after paint, so it seems like there sho uld be a way of removing them, hopefully without causing any damage.  Anyone know?

The frame on ebay looks like a reasonably high end frame. Does anyone know if the "Campionissimo" was the top model - sounds like it should be - and w hat other models there were?
