Yes, the Picchio Special on eBay is definitely not the caliber as Dale's. It appears to be a "Standard Special". .....Looks a little like described...stored in a damp basement. It might clean up OK. And the shipping seems a little steep.
I have 2 Picchio's like the eBay example and the most interesting difference is that this is the first Picchio I've seen (any model...Olympic, Torino, Standard Special, or Rigidio) with flat seat stay caps and not scalloped. Otherwise, the lugs, cutouts, panto, decals are similar to mine.
Anyone out there seen a Picchio with flat seatstay caps?
