Subject: [CR]Alex Singer for Sale

Hi Folks, I decided to offer my Singer to the group before listing it on Ebay this Sunday (if there are no takers). Here are the specifics: 1973ish Alex Singer , 62 cm seat tube, 58 cm top tube, 34 3/4 to 35 inch standover (depending on tires). It is a big one but I rode it for seve ral years and I am a bit under 6 ft. My normal size is 58-59 cm. I resto red it including paint. It is finished black with gold box and lug lini ng and proper Alex Singer decals. It is equipped as follows:

BB: TA french HS: Campy Record french Stem: Alex Singer w/ cable hanger Bars: Philippe cloth tape shellaced Seatpost: Simplex badged Saddle: Ideale 90 Braked: Mafac competition Crankset: TA randonneur triple 52/47/36, Cranks have closed ends Gear: Campy Rally w/ Campy bar end shifters and gray Campy covers. Rims: SC 58 700C Tires: Grand Bois 30mm Hubs: Campy large flange Pedals: Campy SL w/ Christophe clips and honey straps Extras: Alloy fenders, alloy french pump w/Campy end, TA cage, TA front rack, french rear reflector, ubber chain stay protector Braze-ons: Top tube braake cable, rear cable hanger, front and rear rack bosses, chain stay protector bosses, down tube cage bosses, down tube c able stops, generator boss on seatstay, seat tube pump holder, BB cable guides, rear dr cable stop, probably more that I can't think of. Campy f ront and rear drop outs. When I stripped this frame the workmanship was SUPERB! This was made dur ing Roland Czuka's time and it is truly one of the finest made frames th at I have seen. This was not a Cupertino bike...I checked.

A few nicks and scratches that have been touched up. It is a pretty bike ! I have a Snapfish album with a bunch of pictures. If you are interest ed email me and I will give you access.
