Unfortunately I couldn't make it out of Milwaukee to make it back to New En gland for Larz Anderson this Sunday, but from what I've heard from a few th at attended, it was a smallish friendly gathering because of the heat and h umidity with about 50 bikes on the field, plus about 25-30 swap vendors. Fr om those who wrote directly to me they complimented the event, our efforts, had fun and are looking forward to attending next year.
If anyone took photos of the event, and either can load them on a disk, or a photo sight like Flichr or Photobucket, I am going to build a photo site for Larz 2008. Could you please contact me, and I will either use photos fr om a disk or link your site to Larz 08.
I would like to hear from other list members, get your feedback, onlist or off, positive or with ideas for next year with an eye on growing and improv ing the event, possibly to do both on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday would b e a breakfast, a few lectures etc, and a ride. Ideas are welcome, and also any ideas for a "theme" for next year are welcome.
