As the subject line states this may be a trivial matter, but in thinking about the final flourishes for my 1949 project I was suddenly unsure as to the colours of brake cable housing which were used at the time. What was acceptable? Was it a case of white, black, grey?
Of course, all of the available period pictures seem to be in B & W.
