I'd follow up to ask specifically about the plastic under-BB cable guides. Is there reason to fear the structural integrity of the shell would be violated by drilling the single hole required to secure such a guide? I understand proscriptions,for engineering reasons from adding cable guides and bottle cage anchors to frame tubes.
