Isopropyl Alcohol will cut through the grease. Avoid citrus cleaner and simple green to clean your rim sidewalls; or, if you do, clean the residue off with Iso. Alcohol.

Dear Friends,

I spilled some chain cleaner and perhaps some T-9 on my back tire rims which now squeal when I brake. I tried cleaning whatever was on there with a citrus chain cleaner, which didn't stop the squealing.

And advice on this one?

Best,
