Disagree strongly. I ride 700x28 wire bead paselas on multiple bikes and wheels for years. , have not had one blow off. Rims I use are MA2, MA3, CXP22 and Sun CR18. On the Sun CR18 the Pasela 700x28's are very hard to get on the rim. On all the Mavic rims stated they don't seem to be too loose at all, I still struggle sometimes getting that last bit of bead on. I rarely resort to tire levers when putting the tire on. Averaged 100 miles a week for the last 3 years, mostly on these tires.

These are an excellent value. I cannot grasp spending 50.00 for a clinche r when one can buy a Pasela for 15-20 bucks.

They look Classic Too!!
