Thanks all as usual, CR points me in the right direction. Whatever would I do without you all haha.

Sometime when I get a chance I'm going to head up to the LBS and sort throu gh their parts bin, most of it is old 70's - 90's parts with some Huret s tuff, maybe he has that tabbed washer. I think I have seen those tabbed w ashers before, on this Superior that would most definitely work.

My Superior did not have the tabbed washer when I purchased it, it has a super-long adjustment screw that was bent to reach the stop. Maybe it was s upposed to have it from the factory and somehow throughout the life of this frame it got lost?

I also have a 74' Continental frame sitting here I'll have to see if it has that washer *checks the frame* no it does not have it, it uses a hanger , and so does my 78' Traveler, however apparently I still have the orig inal Suntour V-GT, and with a slightly longer adjusting screw it looks li ke a tabbed washer could make it work. That would explain a LOT.

As for the component build, I might keep it all original or upgrade to ol d school Campy stuff, or all Huret who knows, I'm still mechanically so rting it all out.

Ciocc pictures coming soon, that resto-mod turned out absolutely perfect :D I took the Ciocc on a shakedown run through the neighborhood and the bot tom bracket cup on the drive side came loose so I have to tighten it again before I can ride but I will probably convert to sealed BB anyway on that o ne. There's some scouring on the races of the axle itself so it will have t o be replaced.
