Hi List,

I know ken Denny from a few heated exchanges, some nice ones, and one deal on which I made a major killing but he came good on the extortianate price. Therfore I have no reason to doubt his integrity. I would say that given h is knowledge of racing machinery, doubting his listing is akin to directly calling him a cheat. The bike indeed seems way ahead of it's time, especial ly as regards the fork build. But having seen the entirety of the world's b iggest and best collection of comprehensive bike history from the very very beginnings right through to the 70's, I can assure you that many proto or near one off bikes posessed features which were discarded at the time, eg d idn't catch on, and are now hailed as great breakthoughs. In fact, were I a patent lawyer I could doubtless invalidate 50 % of the the gizmos on today s bikes by proving precedence.

Conclusion: ken denny is too knowledgeable to try and pull a fast one for a few miserly thousand bucks, and were he ever to consider pulling a fast on e, it would be utterly and undisputedly genuine in appearance.
